The Settings tab collects account-level controls for your SOCI4L profile. Here you manage your wallet identity, profile visibility, analytics preferences and donation options.

Account

At the top of Settings you see your wallet information:

  • Wallet address with a copy button, shown in shortened form for readability.
  • Network label indicating Avalanche C‑Chain.
  • Claim status showing whether your profile is Claimed or Unclaimed.
  • A direct link to your public profile URL, with a quick action to copy it.

If there is ever a mismatch between the wallet connected in your browser and the wallet used in your Privy session, Settings shows a warning and offers a button to resync your session so actions apply to the correct account.

Custom URL

Below the account card you can manage your custom profile URL (slug):

  • View your current slug, if you have already claimed one.
  • See claim-related details such as when the slug was obtained.

The slug defines the human-readable part of your profile URL. Claiming or changing a slug may involve other flows documented separately under Pro and Slugs.

Visibility

The Visibility section controls who can see your profile details:

  • Public: Anyone can view your profile.
  • Private: Only you can see the full details; visitors see a more limited view.

Changing visibility requires a simple confirmation in your wallet, and the change applies to how your profile is rendered across SOCI4L.

Analytics

The Analytics section lets you adjust how your own behaviour is treated in Insights:

  • You can choose to hide your own activities, meaning your personal views and clicks are still recorded for consistency but are not shown in Insights charts or the Recent Activity helper.

This helps keep your analytics focused on real visitors rather than your own testing and profile edits.

Donations

If you accept donations through SOCI4L, the Donations section lets you fine‑tune how this looks and behaves:

  • Toggle Accept incoming donations on or off. When enabled, visitors see a Donate button on your profile and can send AVAX directly to your wallet.
  • Choose an alert visual effect (such as confetti, heart, star or fire) that appears when a donation comes in.

These options affect only the user experience around donations; the underlying on‑chain payment flow remains the same.
