About this tool
What does "gas spent" mean on Avalanche?
Every transaction you send on the Avalanche C-Chain pays a fee (gas) in AVAX. This tool sums the fees of every transaction sent by an address — the real cost of its on-chain life.
Why does gas spent matter for reputation?
Gas is a costly signal: it can't be earned for free and can't be backdated. A wallet that has burned real AVAX over time is structurally harder to fake than one with empty activity — which is why cumulative gas is a core input to on-chain reputation scoring.
How is the total calculated?
We fetch the transaction history from the Snowtrace API and sum gasUsed × gasPrice for every transaction where the address is the sender. The USD value uses the live AVAX price from CoinGecko.
