Amounts are in AVAX, never converted. Fees rise and fall with how much the network is used and how congested it is, not with what AVAX is worth. This is what users paid, not a net supply figure: the P-Chain mints staking rewards over the same period, and nothing here nets the two against each other.

Sources and method
Fees come from the public Avalanche metrics API and are counted again from Snowtrace's index via Routescan. Everything on this page is denominated in AVAX and never converted to a currency, because this is a record of network activity rather than of what that activity was worth.
The running day is excluded. Both sources report it while it is still filling up and snapshot it at different moments, so it is not comparable to a finished day. Data is cached for six hours. SOCI4L is the reputation layer for Avalanche, and these are the same public sources behind our wallet reputation profiles.
