Understand what SOCI4L Premium unlocks, how much it costs, and how it integrates with your dashboard.

SOCI4L Premium (Pro) is an optional upgrade layer for creators who want deeper analytics and a more powerful profile experience. It does not change the core ownership model — your profile and payments remain fully on-chain — but it unlocks additional visibility into how people interact with your SOCI4L presence.

What Premium unlocks

Premium focuses on analytics and insight features that go beyond the standard profile:

  • Advanced Insights
    Unlocks the full Insights experience on your dashboard, including:

    • Longer time ranges (such as 30 days and All) for profile views and link clicks.
    • Detailed Top Sources breakdown for your traffic.
    • Deeper Performance Breakdowns (Top Links and Top Categories).
    • Device Distribution for visitors (Desktop vs Mobile, etc.).
    • An extended Recent Activity timeline with wallet-level events.

  • Premium-gated views in other panels
    Some analytics UIs, such as link-level insights, show a blurred preview with a “Get Premium Access” call-to-action when Premium is not active. After upgrading, those panels become fully interactive.

Pricing and payment

Premium is sold as a fixed-price, on-chain purchase:

  • Price: 0.5 AVAX
  • Duration: 1 year of access from the time of purchase.

When you upgrade:

  • Your wallet calls the payPremium() function on the PremiumPayment smart contract on Avalanche C‑Chain.
  • The contract emits a PremiumPurchased event.
  • The backend verifies this event and updates your profile’s premiumExpiresAt field.
  • Your dashboard and Insights panels use premiumExpiresAt to determine whether Premium is active.

Funds are forwarded directly to the platform treasury; the contract itself does not hold AVAX balances.

How to upgrade

You can start the upgrade flow in two main ways:

  • From the /premium marketing page using the Upgrade or Unlock for 0.5 AVAX call-to-action.
  • From within the dashboard when you hit a Premium wall (for example, trying to access locked Insights sections), via Get Premium Access buttons.

In both cases, the flow ends in a wallet transaction to PremiumPayment. Once the transaction is confirmed and indexed, Premium features become available automatically — the UI may briefly show a “syncing” message while this happens.

Checking your status

You can see your Premium status under:

  • The Billing tab in your dashboard, where a Premium Plan card shows whether your subscription is Active, Processing, Expired or still on the Free plan.
  • The /premium page itself, which switches from an “Upgrade” hero to a “Premium Unlocked” message when your premiumExpiresAt is in the future.

If you suspect your status is out of sync after a successful payment, the app can trigger a background sync (/api/cron/sync-premium) to reconcile on-chain events with the database.

Premium is entirely optional — standard profiles, donations, and link management all work without it — but it gives power users a much clearer picture of their audience and performance.
