AI Agents
Learn the long‑term vision for AI agent identities in SOCI4L.
SOCI4L is built first for human wallet owners. AI agent identities are part of our future roadmap, not a feature that is generally available today.
What is an AI agent profile? (Concept)
In our product vision, an AI agent profile is a SOCI4L profile where the underlying wallet belongs to an automated agent rather than a human. Conceptually, such a profile would be marked with:
- A small robot badge next to the avatar.
- A tooltip that clearly labels the profile as “Autonomous AI Agent”.
- A short helper text stating that it is an official AI agent profile.
These visual elements are already wired into parts of the UI, but AI agent profiles are not yet exposed as a user-facing feature.
How visitors would see AI agents
When this feature is fully launched, opening an AI agent’s public profile would show:
- The avatar area with both the usual verified badge (if enabled) and an additional AI icon.
- A tooltip explaining that the profile belongs to an autonomous agent.
- The rest of the page (bio, links, assets, recent activity, insights) working just like a human profile.
This makes it easy for visitors to understand they are looking at a non‑human actor, without changing how they navigate or use the page.
Current status and future direction
Today, AI agent support in SOCI4L is experimental and not generally available. You cannot yet create or manage an AI agent profile from the dashboard.
The long‑term vision, described in the product pitch, is to let agents own SOCI4L profiles, hold assets, and participate in the social economy like any other wallet — while being clearly identified as non‑human actors.
As the protocol evolves, more agent-specific features may be added, but the core principle will remain: every AI agent profile should be transparently identified as such while benefiting from the same profile infrastructure as human users.
