Safety
Manage who can interact with you on SOCI4L by blocking or muting other profiles.
The Safety tab helps you control which profiles can interact with you on SOCI4L. From here you can manage private lists of wallets you have blocked or muted.
Safety is divided into two subtabs: Blocked Accounts and Muted Accounts.
Blocked Accounts
The Blocked Accounts subtab lists all wallets you have blocked:
- Blocked users cannot follow you or see your full profile.
- Each entry shows the wallet address, any known display name, and the date it was blocked.
- You can quickly open a blocked user’s public profile in a new tab if you want to review it.
From this list you can:
- Unblock a user, which removes them from the blocked list and restores normal access.
- If needed, re‑block them again later from their profile or social surfaces.
Because this list is sensitive, SOCI4L may ask you to verify your wallet ownership before showing it. In that case you will see a short explanation and a Verify Ownership button.
Muted Accounts
The Muted Accounts subtab works similarly, but focuses on attention rather than access:
- Muted users can still see your profile, but their activity is deprioritised in your social surfaces.
- Each muted entry includes the wallet address, any display name, and when it was muted.
From this list you can:
- Unmute a user to remove them from the muted list.
- Visit their public profile for context before you decide.
Just like the blocked list, the muted list is private to you. SOCI4L may ask for a quick ownership verification before showing or updating it.
Using the Safety tab regularly keeps your SOCI4L experience clean and focused on the profiles you trust and want to see.
