The Account area brings together settings that control how your profile behaves beyond pure layout. While Safety and Billing have their own dedicated tabs, this page focuses on general preferences.

Visibility & privacy

From the Settings tab you can:

  • Toggle your profile between Public and Private modes.
  • Decide whether certain sections (such as Activity or Assets) should be visible to visitors.
  • Control whether basic analytics are collected for your profile and links.

Changing these options immediately affects what visitors see on your public profile.

Donations preferences

Donations are configured here at a high level:

  • Enable or disable Accept incoming donations.
  • Pick a default Donate entry point (from profile only, or also from embeds and extensions).
  • Choose the celebration effect (confetti, heart, star or fire) that runs after a successful donation.

The underlying on‑chain rules (3% platform fee, 97% creator share, 0.01 AVAX minimum) are described in the Platform Donations docs and do not change from this screen.

Social verification

Some social accounts can be verified to prove that the same person controls both the SOCI4L profile and the external account:

  • Start the verification flow from the relevant social link (for example X / Twitter).
  • Follow the instructions to post or sign a verification token.
  • Once confirmed, the profile header and the link gain a subtle verified indicator.

Verified socials may contribute to your SOCI4L score and can make your profile appear more trustworthy to visitors.

Session & security

The Account area may also surface:

  • Recently connected wallets or devices.
  • Options to disconnect sessions or force a re‑verification.
  • Short reminders about security best practices (never sharing seed phrases, checking URLs, etc.).

For blocking or muting specific profiles, see the separate Safety documentation.
