Builder
Control what your SOCI4L profile says about you and how it is laid out.
The Builder tab is where you design the “face” of your SOCI4L profile. Here you decide what your profile says about you, which sections appear on the public page, and how everything is arranged visually.
Builder is organised into three main areas: Profile Info, Profile Sections and Appearance & Layout.
Profile Info
This area controls the personal information that appears at the top of your profile:
- Display Name: The main name shown on your profile. If you do not set one, your wallet address is used instead.
- Bio: A short description where you can share who you are or what you are working on (up to 160 characters).
- Roles: Up to three roles (for example Builder, Trader, Founder). The first selected role is treated as your primary role and is highlighted on your profile.
- Status: A short, optional status line (for example “Shipping v2 of my protocol”) that appears alongside your profile header.
Changes you make here update both the dashboard Overview and your public profile once saved.
Profile Sections
Your profile can show three main on-chain sections:
- Links: Curated external links and social profiles you want to highlight.
- Activity: Recent on-chain transactions and interaction history.
- Assets: Wallet balances, tokens and NFTs.
In the Profile Sections area of Builder you can:
- Reorder sections by dragging them into different rows or columns.
- Switch between full-width or two-column rows (for example placing Links on the left and Activity on the right).
- Turn sections on or off, so your public profile can focus only on what matters to you.
These controls only affect how your profile is presented; they never change the underlying on-chain data.
Appearance & Layout
On the right side of Builder you will find controls for how your profile looks and how much detail it reveals.
Appearance
You can choose one of four visual themes for your profile:
- Default: Neutral, balanced spacing and standard cards.
- Minimal: Calmer, editorial-style layout with lighter borders.
- Dense: Tighter, high-contrast layout that fits more information.
- Spotlight: More expressive style that highlights key elements.
These themes affect colours, spacing and emphasis, but do not change your data.
Layout options
The Layout options menu lets you pick presets for how much on-chain detail to show:
- Links Only: Only your link block is visible; activity and assets are hidden.
- Minimal: Shows links and recent activity, but hides the assets block.
- Full Profile: Shows links, activity and assets together in a compact layout.
- Privacy-first: Shows all sections but hides sensitive amounts in the activity and assets blocks.
You can switch between these presets at any time, or create your own custom layout by manually arranging sections. When you are happy with the result, click Save Changes to apply it to your public SOCI4L profile.
